Preparing a listing batch

How does CutOut process my photos?

CutOut uses Apple’s on-device Vision and image frameworks to detect subjects, remove backgrounds and render your chosen canvas. Selected photo content is not uploaded to Klikkit or RevenueCat for processing.

Does CutOut work offline?

Background removal and rendering can normally run without an internet connection after the app and required system resources are installed. Internet access is still needed to load App Store prices, buy or restore Pro, and refresh purchase entitlement status.

Why did subject detection fail?

Results are strongest when the main item is clearly separated from its surroundings with good lighting and visible edges. Try a sharper image, use a contrasting background or choose Keep Original for detail, label and flaw photos.

Can I use the marketplace presets as a guarantee?

No. Presets make a batch visually consistent, but marketplace rules can change and individual listings may have different requirements. Review the final files and the marketplace’s current guidance before publishing.

Exports and Photos access

What is included for free?

CutOut includes three successfully delivered image exports. Processing and previewing are free. A cancelled or failed save/share should not use an export.

Why does CutOut ask for Photos permission?

Apple’s picker lets you choose photos without granting full library access. CutOut asks for add-only access only when you choose Save to Photos. You can instead use Share to save through another app or to Files.

Where did my finished files go?

Save to Photos places results in your photo library. Share lets you choose Files, AirDrop or another compatible destination. If an export fails, check available device storage and Photos permission in iOS Settings, then retry.

CutOut Pro and billing

What does Pro include?

Pro removes the export allowance and supports batches of up to 20 photos, except where a preset has a smaller marketplace-oriented limit. It is available monthly, yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open CutOut’s settings or paywall and choose Restore Purchases while signed into the Apple account used for purchase. An internet connection is required. If restoration still fails, restart the device and confirm the purchase appears in your Apple purchase history before contacting us.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Follow Apple’s instructions to manage or cancel a subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do refunds work?

Apple handles payment and refund decisions. Submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com.
