Terms of Use

Effective 14 July 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the CutOut iOS application and related support services (the "App"). The App is provided by Klikkit Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17089509 ("Klikkit", "we", "us" or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms.

Your licence is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA"), which is incorporated into these terms. If these terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA controls to the extent required by Apple or applicable law.

2. What CutOut provides

CutOut prepares listing photos by removing backgrounds, applying solid or transparent backgrounds, resizing images and exporting batches. Image results are generated automatically and can vary according to the photo, device and operating system. You should review every image before publishing a listing.

Preset names are workflow aids, not a promise that an image will meet every marketplace rule. Vinted, Depop and Etsy are trademarks of their respective owners. CutOut is not affiliated with or endorsed by those marketplaces, and you remain responsible for checking their current listing requirements.

3. Free exports

A new installation includes three successful image exports without charge. Processing and previewing do not consume an export. One free export is used for each newly delivered image when a save or share completes successfully; cancelling or failing an export does not consume it.

Some existing users may retain a larger legacy balance stored on their device. Because CutOut does not require an account, legacy balances cannot be guaranteed to transfer to another device. Contact support if you believe a legitimate previously purchased balance has been lost.

4. CutOut Pro

CutOut Pro enables unlimited exports and larger batches, subject to reasonable technical limits shown in the App. Pro is offered as monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Current local prices are displayed before you confirm a purchase. No free trial applies unless one is explicitly displayed by Apple on the purchase screen.

Subscriptions are charged to your Apple account at confirmation and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Follow Apple’s instructions to manage or cancel a subscription. Deleting CutOut does not cancel a subscription.

A lifetime purchase provides Pro access for the supported lifetime of CutOut under the purchasing Apple account; it is not a transferable account balance or a guarantee that every feature, device or operating-system version will be supported indefinitely. Purchases, billing and refunds are administered by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple’s rules and applicable consumer law.

5. Your photos and content

You retain your rights in photos and outputs. You grant CutOut only the device-local access needed to perform the actions you request. You confirm that you have permission to use and edit each selected photo and that your use of an output will not infringe another person’s rights, mislead buyers or breach marketplace rules or law.

6. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or misuse the App except where applicable law expressly permits it. You must not use CutOut to facilitate unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or rights-infringing listings. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the App, users or our legal obligations.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep on-device editing available, but App Store services, purchase verification and restore functions depend on Apple, RevenueCat and an internet connection. We may update, replace or discontinue features to maintain security, compatibility, legal compliance or service quality. Where a material paid feature changes, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. Intellectual property

CutOut’s software, interface, branding and original materials belong to Klikkit or its licensors. Subject to these terms and the Apple Standard EULA, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by Apple’s usage rules.

9. Disclaimers and liability

CutOut is provided with reasonable care and skill, but automated cut-outs and marketplace presets are not guaranteed to be error-free or fit for every listing. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, lost profits, business interruption, marketplace decisions or loss caused by using an output without reviewing it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Ending use

You may stop using and delete the App at any time. Subscription cancellation is handled separately through Apple. Sections intended by their nature to continue—including ownership, liability and dispute provisions—survive termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available under the laws of your home country.

12. Changes and contact

We may revise these terms and will update the effective date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice in the App or on this page.
